Is Your Office Currently Open during Normal Business Hours?

We are open during normal business hours, M-F 8:00 a.m. (CST) to 5:00 p.m. (CST); however, at this time, we are not allowing walk-ins without an appointment or prior approval. We are conducting telephone and video appointments to prevent the spread of the virus.

How Can I Get Updates regarding the Status of My Case or Legal Matter?

Current and prospective clients can always call or text us to find out information about the status of a case or legal matter.

Are Courts of Law Still Open in My Area? Will My Court Date Be Rescheduled? What If I Can’t Come to Court Because I’m Sick or Quarantined?

Currently, the federal court system is closed to all in-person proceedings. Until further notice, all hearings noticed for the Bankruptcy Court in the Middle District of Alabama will be held telephonically only. This applies to all divisions and all locations. All Meetings of Creditors (341 Meetings) will be held over the phone and clients will be provided the call-in information specific to their case.

Will Scheduled Depositions, Mediation, Arbitration, or Settlement Negotiations Occur as Planned?

Any scheduled meetings or proceedings will either be held telephonically or over video conference, or will be postponed until further notice.
